The MCE Sentry Destination Dispatch plugin adds custom events to Security Center. These events can be used as query filters in activity reports or to create event-to-actions.
IMPORTANT: If these events are not displayed in the Custom events list in
Config
Tool, verify that the plugin has
been installed on the plugin role server and that the role is running.
Custom event | Source entity | Description |
---|---|---|
MCE Elevator requested | Destination input device | A cardholder has requested an elevator car at a destination input device. |
MCE Elevator request denied | Destination input device | A request for an elevator car was denied because the cardholder does not have access to the destination floor. |
MCE Car allocated | Destination input device | A cardholder's request for an elevator car was granted. |
MCE Car allocation failed | Destination input device | A cardholder requested an elevator car at a destination input device, but the car could not be allocated by the third-party MCE Sentry system for an unspecified reason. |
MCE Communication lost | Plugin role | Communication between Security Center and the MCE Sentry system is lost. When this occurs, the elevator system will work, but events and actions are not communicated to the plugin. In addition, Security Center readers won't work with the third-party MCE Sentry system. |
MCE Communication restored | Plugin role | Communication that was previously lost between Security Center and the MCE Sentry system has been restored. When this occurs, the plugin returns to functioning as expected. |
NOTE: The custom event MCE Elevator requested by user is created by
the plugin, but is not used by the plugin.
