The MCE Sentry Destination Dispatch plugin is a software module that integrates MCE Sentry elevator systems into Security Center, so you can monitor and investigate events related to floor markings and destination input devices.

The plugin connects Security Center to the the third-party MCE Sentry system through the IP address and port number of the MCE Sentry server.

After the connection is established, floor markings and destination input devices from the third-party MCE Sentry system can be manually added as entities in Security Center. After these entities are added, events related to them can be monitored and investigated using the Monitoring and Elevator dispatch activities tasks in Security Desk.

Access to MCE floor markings is managed by Security Center access rules. You can also set MCE floor markings to be secured or unsecured at all times, or during scheduled periods.

When a cardholder swipes their badge at a reader connected to the destination input device, the screen displays the destination floors that they have access to. If the cardholder has been assigned a home floor, and the Turnstile option on the destination input device has been turned on, the cardholder swipes their badge at the reader and is then automatically brought to the home floor that is assigned to them.
