To generate reports on activities related to the MCE Sentry Destination Dispatch plugin, you can use the Elevator dispatch activities task in Security Desk.

Before you begin

Provide the Dispatch elevator activities privilege to users who are generating reports.

What you should know

  • When a card read is detected on a reader associated with a destination input device, the plugin generates a custom event.
    NOTE: Custom events are created when the plugin role is created.
  • An elevator request event occurs when a card swipe is detected on a reader for a destination input device.
  • Elevator car allocation events and elevator request denied events are generated on feedback from the third-party MCE Sentry system.

Procedure

  1. From the home page in Security Desk, open the Elevator dispatch activities task.
  2. Select the entities that you want to report on.
  3. Select your report filters.
    You can apply filters for the following:
    • Cardholders
    • Credentials
    • Landings
    • Time range
  4. Click Generate report.
    The query results are displayed. This includes:
    • The credential that was swiped by a cardholder at a destination input device.
    • Timestamps of when the cardholder swiped their card and selected their destination floor.
    • The source and destination floor.
    • The elevator car that was assigned to transport the cardholder.
