remote Security Center, you must configure a Security Center
Federation™ host.
Before you begin
- Understand Federation™.
- Deploy the plugin and integrate the MCE Sentry Destination Dispatch
system with Security Center on each remote
site.
- To view destination input devices and MCE floor markings from a federated system, you
must first create an instance of the plugin on the Federation™ host.
- Read the release notes to learn about known issues and limitations that affect the use
of Federation™ for this plugin.
Procedure
-
Open Config
Tool on the server that host
Federation™.
-
Add the MCE Sentry Destination Dispatch license (part number GSC-1P-MCE).
-
Install the MCE Sentry Destination Dispatch
plugin.

hosts the MCE Sentry Destination Dispatch
plugin role.
-

role.
The MCE Sentry Destination Dispatch entities from remote systems are displayed in the
entity browser of the Federation™ host. If the entities
are missing, restart the main server for the Federation™
host.
-
(Optional) Delete the MCE Sentry Destination Dispatch
plugin role that you created in step 4.
-
In the Monitoring task, add the entities to the event monitoring
list.
