If you update your Security Center license, such as adding new camera connections or extending the expiry date, you must reapply your license. You can reapply your license from the Genetec™ Technical Assistance Portal (GTAP).

What you should know

To reapply your license, you do not need to reactivate your license or regenerate the validation key from Server Admin.

These steps assume that you are familiar with managing system licenses and navigating Server Admin. If you need more information, the complete steps are available from Reapplying Security Center license.

Procedure

  1. Open the System Management page on GTAP and find your system using the system ID.
  2. On the System Information page, click Download under License Key and save the license key to a file.

  3. From the License activation page in Server Admin, select the license key file and click Activate.
