A Medeco XT key can only be assigned to a single Daily or Weekly schedule that is made up of a continuous block of time. If a key is configured to use an unsupported schedule, the programming station cannot update the key. Consequently, the key's cardholder can only use the key until its validation period expires.
Supported schedules
Daily or Weekly schedule that contains a continuous block of time are supported.
The following are examples of supported schedules:
- Daily: Monday to Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
- Weekly: Every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 P.M. to 9:00 A.M.
Unsupported schedules
Ordinal, Specific, and Daily or Weekly schedules that have interrupted blocks of time are not supported.
The following are examples of unsupported schedules:
- Ordinal: Every month on Mondays from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
- Specific: Next week from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
- Weekly: Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
- Daily: Monday to Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and from 5:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.
Multiple access rules, only one schedule
If you assign multiple access rules to the same key, the rules must have the same schedule. Multiple schedules are not supported.
This example shows two access rules that you can assign to the same key, because their
schedules are the same, and the schedule is a supported option; Daily for a continuous block
of time.
Rule name | Door | Scheduled day | Time |
