Enhancements

NOTE: This document lists only the features and enhancements relevant to the Mercury integration with Synergis™ Softwire.
  • Ability to set NIC2 default gateway.
  • 802.1X EAP-TLS support.

Removed support for PEAP and MD5. People using the legacy 802.1x will need to switch to TLS prior to upgrading or disable 802.1x until ready to transition. If using legacy options while migrating, then the 802.1x option is automatically disabled within the web UI upon completion.

  • LED bootup sequence.

The bootup LED sequence of a controller running 2.1 Mercury OS has been updated and synchronized between LP and MP controllers. This updated LED behavior can be found in the latest available HID Mercury Controller Installation and Specifications documents.

  • New web activity transactions for the advanced routing and certificate manager web pages.
  • Host approval of card and PIN.
