Preparing your systems for the Morpho Biometrics plugin - Morpho Biometrics 3.0

Before you install the Morpho Biometrics plugin, you must complete some pre-configuration tasks.

1. Read the release notes for any known issues, limitations, supported firmware, and other information about this release.
2. Make sure that you have the required software and hardware, as listed in Morpho Biometrics plugin 3.0 compatibility and System requirements for the Morpho Biometrics plugin 3.0.
3. Install Security Center 5.4 SR3 or later on the server.
4. Install MorphoManager Server on a server machine that can communicate with the server that will host the plugin database.
5. Install MorphoManager Client on each client computer that will run the plugin.
6. Verify that your Security Center license has a valid certificate to run the Morpho Biometrics plugin.
   The license number is included in the product-release email sent by the product manager of Genetec Inc. This email also includes links to the plugin download package and other license information.
7. Make sure that Security Center can communicate with devices on your network. From the Security Center server that will host the plugin, open a command prompt and ping the IP address of a device on the network.
