To integrate Morse Watchmans cabinets, asset groups and assets into Security Center, you must install the Morse Watchmans KeyWatcher Touch plugin on a Security Center server and on all client workstations.
Before you begin
- Your server meets the recommended system requirements.
- A compatible version of Security Center is installed.
What you should know
- Although it is possible to host the plugin role on any server, it is best practice to host that role on a dedicated expansion server for best system performance.
- For your operators to have access to the features of this plugin, you must install this plugin on all Security Center client workstations.
Procedure
After you finish
IMPORTANT:
Create
the Morse Watchmans KeyWatcher Touch plugin role.
- Apply Microsoft security updates after plugin installation on the server.
- For security purposes, the plugin should be deployed on the same subnet as the third-party Morse KeyWatcher TrueTouch Server.
- By default, the communication between the KWTServer and the KWTouch is not encrypted. This poses a security risk because sensitive information, including PINs, card numbers, and passwords can be exposed over the connection. Refer to Morse Watchmans documentation to enable encryption.
