An access rule is a type of entity that defines a list of cardholders to whom access is either granted or denied based on a schedule.

Two types of access rules that can be applied to Morse Watchmans KeyWatcher Touch assets:
Security Center access rules
Used to provide or deny access to areas and doors in Security Center. Security Center access rules are not used by the Morse Watchmans integration to grant cardholders access to the Morse Watchmans assets. Access to assets must be assigned to profiles in the Morse Watchmans KeyWatcher software, after which the profiles can be assigned directly to cardholders. For more information, see Giving cardholders access to Morse Watchmans KeyWatcher Touch lockers.
Morse Watchmans access rules
To apply rules to cardholders when they are in possession of a Morse Watchmans KeyWatcher Touch asset. For example, to avoid cardholders leaving the building while in possession of an asset, create and apply an access denied Morse Watchmans access rule for the asset and apply it to doors that server as exits. For more information, see Configuring access control rules for Morse Watchmans KeyWatcher Touch assets.
