Maintaining a connection between Security Center and OnGuard - OnGuard 5.1.0

To maintain communication with the OnGuard system, Security Center must regularly communicate with OpenAccess through the proxy.

1. From the home page in Config Tool, open the Plugins task.
2. Select the OnGuard plugin from the entity browser, and click the Proxy settings tab.
3. From the Directory list, select the directory that corresponds with the username and password that were entered in the proxy.
   NOTE: If you are using OnGuard usernames (instead of usernames from a Windows or Active Directory account), select [id]-1 <Internal>.

   

4. In the Keep alive interval (in seconds) field, enter the time interval for the proxy to communicate with OpenAccess to maintain the connection between the two systems.
   Tip: To avoid communication issues, it is recommended that you set this value to 15.
5. Click Apply.
