To avoid elevator service disruptions, when configuring the Otis Compass plugin or servicing the CompassPlus™ system, you can disable Security Center access control rules.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
  2. Select the Otis Compass plugin from the entity browser, and then click the Properties tab.
  3. In the Security system section, disable the Enabled option and click Apply.
    IMPORTANT: When the Enabled option is OFF, the Otis Compass system switches to standalone mode and all floors can be accessed without presenting any credentials.
