Import all destination entry devices (DEC, DES, and DER) after you integrate the Otis CompassPlus™ system with Security Center, or when new devices are added to the Otis CompassPlus™ system.

Before you begin

Connect to the Destination Entry Server (DES).

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
  2. Select the plugin role from the entity browser, and click the Properties tab.
  3. In the Synchronization section, enable the Create devices automatically option.
    All destination entry devices that are online when the plugin role first connects to the CompassPlus™ system are created as entities in Security Center.
  4. Click Apply.

After you finish

If additional devices are added to the CompassPlus™ system later, click Synchronize to automatically create the devices as Compass™ entities in Security Center.
