The Daily Screen Covid-19 (2nd triage) incident is triggered by the system when the operator recommends a more in-depth screening for a person in the incident procedure.

Daily Screen Covid-19 (2nd triage) incident type: functionality

The incident type is configured to be triggered automatically based on operator response to the incident procedure in the Daily Screen Covid-19 (1st triage) incident. The operator can also manually trigger the incident in the Incident monitoring task if required.

Tip: You must have at least one valid email address for notification emails.

For more details, see Triggering incidents manually.

If the operator confirms that the visitor or employee is cleared to pass, the system triggers Daily Screen - Screening Cleared incident, if not, the system triggers the Daily Screen - Sent Back Home incident.

The system emails the Administrators with the following details in either case:
  • Incident name
  • Incident description
  • Cardholder details
  • Dynamic incident procedure steps

For more information on the how the operator can monitor and manage the incident, see the Genetec Mission Control™ User Guide .

Daily Screen Covid-19 (2nd triage) incident type configuration

The incident type is preconfigured with the following:

Daily Screen Covid-19 (2nd triage) incident type: triggers

The incident configuration does not include automatic triggers. The expected behavior is for the system to trigger the incident from the Daily Screen Covid-19 (1st triage) incident based on operator response to the dynamic SOP.

The Daily Screen Covid-19 (2nd triage) is also configured to Allow manual trigger in the incident’s Properties page. This ensures that operators can trigger the incident manually if needed, to scan visitors.

Daily Screen Covid-19 (2nd triage) incident type: automation workflow

After the incident is triggered either by the system or manually, the system waits for one of two operator responses:
  • Person cleared for entry.
  • Person not cleared for entry.

If the person is cleared for entry, the system triggers the Daily Screen - Screening Cleared incident. When incident reports are generated, this incident indicates that the cardholder who was granted access was cleared of Covid-19.

If the person is not cleared for entry after a detailed screening, the system triggers the Daily Screen - Sent Back Home incident. When incident reports are generated, this incident indicates that the cardholder was not granted access to the facility.

The system also emails Administrators with the details of the incident name, cardholder and incident procedure steps.

You can modify any of these details such as email recipients, details included in the notification email, and so on by selecting the incident type from the Incident configuration page in Config Tool and modifying the corresponding automation workflow activity in the incident's Automation tab.

For more details, see Modifying incident automation workflow activities.

Daily Screen Covid-19 (2nd triage) incident type: user procedure

The incident is configured with a dynamic procedure, that accepts operator response and directs system action accordingly.

The incident procedure steps include the following directives for the operators:
  1. Logging results of temperature check.
  2. Logging details of person's age, health condition, travel history and so on.
  3. Guidelines to clear the person for entry or deny entry to the facility based on responses to the second phase of screening.

For more details, see Modifying incident user procedures.

For more information on incident type configuration, see the Mission Control Administrator Guide.
