Adding your Fiber SenSys APU server as a tracking system to Security Center - Restricted Security Area Surveillance

Before you can monitor the restricted areas secured by your Fiber SenSys perimeter intrusion detection system in Security Center, you must add each Fiber SenSys server as a tracking system in Config Tool.

1. From the Config Tool homepage, open the Area view task.
2. Click Add an entity (), and then select Tracking system.
   The Add tracking system wizard opens.
3. On the Tracking system information page, enter the following information:

   Type

   Select Fiber SenSys.

   Name

   Enter a unique name for this tracking system.

4. On the Communication page, enter the following information:

   IP address

   The IP address of the server that hosts the tracking system's API software.

   Port

   The TCP/IP port that the plugin and the tracking system uses to communicate.

   NOTE: By default, Fiber SenSys uses port 10001.
5. Click Refresh connection status () to connect.
6. When the connection status turns Online (), click Next page ().
7. On the Specific configuration page, specify the duration of the delay before the alarm is automatically acknowledged. The default value is five seconds.
8. On the RSA configuration page, enter the following information:

   Events

   Turn on the custom events that you want to monitor for this tracking system.

   NOTE: You can modify this later on the Properties page of the tracking system.

   Fence configuration

   Choose the color for the perimeter when its state changes. The available options vary by system.

   Change color on intrusion

   Turn on this option if you want the perimeter to change color when an intrusion is detected, and then choose the color for the perimeter.

9. Click Finish.
   The Fiber SenSys server and its devices are listed in the Area view entity tree.
