To prepare your Fiber SenSys EchoPoint devices for integration with Security Center, you must configure the Fiber SenSys system to communicate with the Genetec™ Restricted Security Area Surveillance (RSA Surveillance) plugin. For specific details about configuring your devices and software, refer to the Fiber SenSys documentation.

Before you begin

  • Make sure that your Fiber SenSys system is operating as per the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Make sure that your Fiber SenSys devices and software are compatible with the RSA Surveillance plugin. For the latest compatibility information, see Supported plugins in Security Center on the Genetec TechDoc Hub.
NOTE: If you have a Fiber SenSys APU server, see Preparing your Fiber SenSys APU system for integration with Security Center.

Procedure

  1. Make sure that the Fiber SenSys EchoPoint system is properly configured.
  2. Take note of the IP address and port of the Fiber SenSys EchoPoint system. You need them to configure the plugin later.

After you finish

Add your Fiber SenSys EchoPoint device to Security Center.
