To prepare your Magos devices for integration with Security Center, you must configure the Magos system to communicate with the Genetecâ„¢ Restricted Security Area Surveillance (RSA Surveillance) plugin. For specific details about configuring your devices and software, refer to the Magos documentation.

Before you begin

  • Make sure that your Magos system is operating as per the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Make sure that your Magos devices and software are compatible with the RSA Surveillance plugin. For the latest compatibility information, see Supported plugins in Security Center on the Genetec TechDoc Hub.

Procedure

  1. Deploy and configure the Magos system as described in the Magos documentation.
  2. Make sure that the radar device is configured in the MASS Server and is operating as expected.
  3. Create an administrator-level user account in the MASS Server for the plugin to use to connect.
  4. Take note of the following information. You need it to configure the Magos system in Security Center:
    • IP address of the server that hosts the MASS Server
    • Username and password for the administrator-level user account you created earlier
