To prepare your SICK devices for integration with Security Center, you must configure the SICK system to communicate with the Genetec™ Restricted Security Area Surveillance (RSA Surveillance) plugin. For specific details about configuring your devices and software, refer to the SICK documentation.

Before you begin

  • Make sure that your SICK system is operating as per the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Make sure that your SICK devices and software are compatible with the RSA Surveillance plugin. For the latest compatibility information, see Supported plugins in Security Center on the Genetec TechDoc Hub.

Procedure

  1. Deploy and configure the SICK system as described in the SICK documentation.
  2. Note the IP address of the SICK laser for later configuration of the plugin.

Add your SICK lasers as tracking systems to Security Center.
