To prepare your SightLogix devices for integration with Security Center, you must configure the SightLogix system to communicate with the Genetec™ Restricted Security Area Surveillance (RSA Surveillance) plugin. For specific details about configuring your devices and software, refer to the SightLogix documentation.

Before you begin

  • Make sure that your SightLogix system is operating as per the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Make sure that your SightLogix devices and software are compatible with the RSA Surveillance plugin. For the latest compatibility information, see Supported plugins in Security Center on the Genetec TechDoc Hub.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the SightLogix camera's configuration page.
  2. Note the username and password for the administrative-level user account. You will need them later for the configuration of the plugin.

After you finish

Add your SightLogix cameras as tracking systems to Security Center.
