To prepare your SpotterRF devices for integration with Security Center, you must configure the SpotterRF system to communicate with the Genetecâ„¢ Restricted Security Area Surveillance (RSA Surveillance) plugin. For specific details about configuring your devices and software, refer to the SpotterRF documentation.

Before you begin

  • Make sure that your SpotterRF system is operating as per the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Make sure that your SpotterRF devices and software are compatible with the RSA Surveillance plugin. For the latest compatibility information, see Supported plugins in Security Center on the Genetec TechDoc Hub.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the SpotterRF NetworkedIO application.
  2. Create an administrator-level user account for remote access to the NetworkedIO application.
  3. (Optional) Create zones.
The RSA Surveillance plugin will import these zones into Security Center.
  4. Take note of the following information. You need it to configure the SpotterRF system in Security Center:
