To monitor events from alarm receivers in Security Desk, you must add the receivers to the
Intrusion Manager role as intrusion detection units.
Before you begin
Create the Intrusion Manager role.
What you should know
When there are multiple alarm receivers, make sure that each
receiver has a unique port number, even if the receivers are on different IP

Results
Two entities are created for the alarm receiver in Security Center. One entity is added to Intrusion Manager
as an
Intrusion detection unit and one entity is added to the
Area view as a
Receiver unit.
NOTE: By default, intrusion detection units have a
Peripherals tab, which is not used by the receiver, so it is
empty.
