Before installing the Genetec™ Receiver extension, you must ensure that the required ports are open on all network switch routers and firewalls, and that no other applications are using these ports.

1Bosch receivers must be connected using network ports.

2For DSC Sur-Gard receivers using serial connections, the default port is COM 1.
