Components of Records Management Systems Connector integration
- Records management system
- Security Center connects to your records management system (). Its records are made available for use in investigations and can be included in the Security Center unified report.
- Records management system API
- The records management system API connects your RMS with the Records Management Systems Connector plugin. The records management system API is a specification
defined by Genetec™. A service must implement this specification and retrieve

- Records Management Systems Connector plugin
- The Records Management Systems Connector plugin runs as a plugin role. It connects to the records management system API to retrieve the records.
- Config Tool
- The Records Management Systems Connector plugin is also installed on a Config Tool workstation. The Security Center administrator uses Config Tool to create and configure the Plugin role.
