When you are certain that a target is not a threat, you acknowledge the target. Acknowledging a target removes it from the list of targets and the map, and, if there are no other targets in the zone, changes the zone state from in alert back to armed.

What you should know

  • You must have the user privilege required to see RSA zones.

  1. In Security Desk, open the Maps task, or any task that includes a map.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click the target, click the Acknowledge () button.
    • Click the zone, from the RSA widget or zone list, click the target, then click the Acknowledge () button.
The target disappears from the list and the map. If there was only one target in the zone, the zone color changes to indicate that the zone is no longer in alert.
