You can enable the Focus PTZ cameras in range when a new target is created option so that all your PTZ cameras will automatically pan to a target when the target is created.

What you should know

When a new target enters an armed RSA zone, all PTZ cameras that have the target in their field of view automatically pan to the target, and remain fixed on where the target was first detected until another target is created.
NOTE: For the PTZ cameras to follow the target as it moves, you must enable the Use PTZ to follow targets option in Security Desk instead of the Focus PTZ cameras in range when a new target is created option.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
  2. Select the Restricted Security Area Surveillance role, and then click the Properties tab.
  3. In the Move PTZ on target creation section, set Focus PTZ cameras in range when a new target is created to ON.
