To prepare your Southwest Microwave POE-S perimeter intrusion detection system for integration with Security Center, you must configure specific settings.

Before you begin

Preparing your tracking system is part of the larger integration process. Follow the steps before and after step Prepare Security Center in the Integration overview for the RSA Surveillance plugin.

Procedure

  1. Make sure that the Southwest Microwave processor modules are configured for Connection mode active.
  2. Make sure the processor modules are using an unencrypted connection, not an SSL certificate.
  3. Note the following information for later configuration of the plugin:
    • IP address of the processor module
    • TCP port on the processor module that is used for remote connections
    • User name and password used for remote connections
