If you are unable to unlock a SALTO door, hotel rooms, or suite despite having the credentials, you can verify the status and battery level of the door in Config Tool.
If a door is in warning, it may require a firmware update. For more information, consult your SALTO documentation.
What you should know
- From the home page in Config Tool, open the Area view task.
- Select a SALTO door, hotel room or locker from the entity browser, and click on the Custom fields tab.
In the Salto section, the status and battery level of the door are displayed.
NOTE: The fields appear as read/write, however any changes made to these fields will be overridden immediately with the value from the door.
