If you are unable to unlock a SALTO door, hotel room, or suite despite having the credentials, you can verify the status and battery level of the door in Config Tool.

What you should know

If a door is in warning, it may require a firmware update. For more information, consult your SALTO documentation.

Procedure

  1. From the homepage in Config Tool, open the Area view task.
  2. Select a SALTO door, hotel room or locker from the entity browser, and click on the Custom fields tab.

Results

In the Salto section, the status and battery level of the entity are displayed.
NOTE: The fields appear as read/write, however any changes made to these fields will be overridden immediately with the value from the entity.
