You might need to update a cardholder's SALTO credential in Security Center; for example, when you make a change to a cardholder or an access rule, or when you change the way data is stored on the credential.

Procedure

  1. In Config Tool or Security Desk, open the Cardholder management task.
  2. In the Cardholder status column, verify the cardholder's credential status. The following status lists the possible status you might see and the action you might take in response.

  3. If the list does not include the Credential status column, do the following:
    1. Right-click any column title, and then click Select columns or press CTRL+SHIFT+C on your keyboard.
    2. Double-click Credential status (read only), and then click OK.
The Credential Status column is displayed in the list.
  4. Double-click the cardholder you want to update.
  5. Click the Salto credential management button.
  6. Place the credential on the encoder.
  7. From the Update credential tab, click Update.
Security Center updates the SALTO Virtual Network ProAccess SPACE system immediately. Within seconds, the cardholder can unlock authorized doors and lockers in your building using the updated credential.
