To provide Security Center cardholders access to the elevator system, you must push their credentials to the Schindler PORT database using the plugin.

What you should know

  • Information cannot be imported from the Schindler PORT system into Security Center. Add information from the Schindler PORT system to the Security Center cardholder profile and then push the profile to the Schindler PORT system.
  • Performing a full synchronization does not remove entities from the Schindler PORT system if they do not already exist in Security Center. As a workaround, remove the entities from manually from the Schindler PORT system directly.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
  2. Select the elevator system from the entity browser, and click the Synchronization tab.
  3. Click the Add an item button (), select your cardholders or cardholder groups, and click OK.
  4. If you want to synchronize a cardholder with more than three credentials:
    1. Click the Card format button.
    2. Select up to three credential types to push to the Schindler PORT server.
NOTE: The Schindler PORT API supports up to three credentials per cardholder.
  5. (Optional) Click the Export button to save the cardholder profiles in a .txt file.
This file can be used to import cardholder profiles into the Schindler PORT system manually.
  6. From the Card format list, select the card format used by cardholders in the Schindler PORT system.
NOTE: The Schindler PORT Elevator plugin supports the following card formats: HID, RAW, and Generic Wiegand.
  7. (Optional) Switch the Privacy mode option to ON to hide the identity of cardholders when they use the elevator system.
  8. Click Apply.
  9. From the Synchronization mode list, choose between the following:
