To manage a Schindler PORT elevator system in Security Center, you must add the elevator system to the plugin role.

Before you begin

Create the plugin role.

What you should know

You can add an unlimited number of elevator systems to the plugin role.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
  2. Select the plugin role from the entity browser, and click Add elevator system.
    A new elevator system is added to the entity browser under the plugin role.
  3. Select the new elevator system from the entity browser, click the Identity tab, and enter the following:
    Name
    Name of the elevator entity.
    Description
    Description of the elevator system.
    Logical ID
    A unique ID assigned to each entity in the system for ease of reference.
  4. Click Apply.

Results

The elevator system is displayed in the entity browser.
