Preparing to deploy fixed AutoVu™ systems - Security Center 5.10

To make sure that your fixed AutoVu™ deployment goes smoothly, you must perform a series of pre-configuration steps.

1. Have the information from your initial site survey on hand before you install the AutoVu™ hardware.

   For example, you should already know how high to install a fixed Sharp before you begin the installation.

2. Install the following Security Center software components:
   1. Install Security Center Server software on your main server.
   2. (Optional) Install Security Center Server software on expansion servers.
      You can add expansion servers at any time.
   3. Security Center Client software on at least one workstation.
3. Install the Sharp hardware (see the Deployment Guide for your AutoVu™ product).
4. Upgrade Sharp units to the latest software and firmware (see the Deployment Guide for your AutoVu™ product).
