To view license plate reads from devices using Genetec™ Mobile in Security Center, you must add the devices to the required ALPR Manager.
Before you begin
What you should know
- For a mobile device to be visible in the list, at least one read should have been generated from the device using AutoVu™ Plate Finder.
- If you uninstall and re-install the Genetec Mobile application on a device, the Plate Finder application registers the mobile device with a new Guid. Also, if the ALPR Image Manager plugin is inactive, the corresponding ALPR Manager role with an active Plate Finder integration shows a warning.
Procedure
- From the Config Tool homepage, click the ALPR task and select Roles and units.
- Select the ALPR Manager that you want to use.

You can add a mobile device in one of the following ways.
- using the Plate Finder feature from the Properties tab.
- using the ALPR unit button.
