You can import MIFARE DESFire configurations using an XML file in the MIFARE DESFire configuration task.

Before you begin

Ensure that your Security Center license supports the following options:
  • MIFARE DESFire configuration
  • Smart card encoding

What you should know

  • Imported MIFARE DESFire configurations cannot be edited. Therefore, each imported configuration must have a unique name, distinct from any existing configuration.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool homepage, open the MIFARE DESFire configuration task.
  2. On the Configuration page, click Import.
  3. From the file browser, select an XML file containing the MIFARE DESFire configurations, and then click Open.

Results

The configurations from the file are added to the MIFARE DESFire configuration list.
