The Copy configuration tool can copy different settings depending on the entity type

NOTE: Custom fields can also be copied if they are defined for the selected entity type.

This table lists the categories of settings that are available for each entity type when using the Copy configuration tool:

Camera	Identical camera models: You can copy all the settings in all categories. Different camera models: Depending on the category, the results vary between a partial copy or a full copy. The following setting categories can be fully copied: Actions Color Encryption Privacy protection Recording Visual tracking The following setting categories can be partially copied: Boost quality Motion detection Network Stream usage with video quality The following settings can't be copied between non-identical cameras: Hardware-specific settings PTZ
