To read partial license plates, you must set a hotlist as a wildcard hotlist.

1. From the Config Tool homepage, click ALPR > Hotlists
2. Click the hotlist that you want to configure.
3. Click the Advanced tab, and turn the Use wildcards option to ON.
4. Click Apply.
