Before configuring the access rights for offline locks, you must create offline doors for the sites that correspond to the OSS Standard Offline configurations.

What you should know

A gray icon () represents an offline door. It should not be confused with an inactive door entity (), which is a regular door whose access control unit is offline.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool homepage, open the Area view task.
  2. Select the area where you want to add the offline door.
  3. Click Add an entity () > Door.
  4. In the Creating a door wizard, enter the door name and description.
  5. From the Location list, select the area in which the door belongs, and click Next.
You’re moved to the Door information page.
  6. From the Door type list, select Offline.
For information on normal doors, see Creating doors.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Review the Summary page, and click Create > Close.
The new offline door () appears in the area view’s entity tree.
  9. Select the offline door and click the Properties tab.
  10. Assign a Door ID and Site ID, according to the lock configuration.
  11. Click Apply.
