When you are connecting the Map Manager role to a web-based map provider in Security Center, the format of the server URL differs depending on which map provider you are using.

URL format for WMTS map servers

If you are connecting the Map Manager to a map server that supports the Web Map Tile Service (WMST) standard, use the following URL format:
http://<Server>/tile/<Version>/<Layer>/<Style>/<TileMatrixSet>/{z}/{x}/{y}.<FileType>
The URL components are the following:
URL element Description
Server The root URL of the WMTS resource.
Version The version of the WMTS standard (for example, 1.0.0).
Layer The map layer. For a list of supported values, see the capabilities document of the server.
Style The style of the map layer (usually default). For a list of supported values, see the capabilities document of the server.
TileMatrixSet The set of parameters for the tiled map layer. The tile matrix set defines the scale of the tiles (rendering pixel size), the width and height of each tile, the boundaries of the layer, the number of tiles, and so on. For a list of supported values, see the capabilities document of the server.
PixelCoordParams The zoom factor {z} or {zoom}, X position {x}, and Y position {y} variables that are part of the WMTS standard. These values are automatically calculated when you view the map in Security Center.
FileType The format of the file (usually JPEG or PNG format). For a list of supported values, see the capabilities document of the server.

URL format for OpenStreetMaps

If you are connecting the Map Manager to a map that is provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, use the following URL format:
http://<Server>/{z}/{x}/{y}.png

The Server is the URL of the OpenStreetMap server. No other URL components are required.
