In Security Desk, you can manually activate or deactivate messages on multiple variable message signs at the same time.

What you should know

To trigger messages to activate or deactivate automatically based on events, you can create event-to-actions using the Broadcast message macro.

Procedure

  1. From the Security Desk home page, open the Monitoring task.
  2. From the upper-right task bar, click Broadcast.
    The Broadcast a DMS message window opens.
  3. From the Signs list, select which signs you want to activate messages on.
  4. From the Broadcast messages list, select the tag associated to the messages you want to activate.
  5. To activate the messages on the selected signs, turn on the Activation option and click OK.
  6. To deactivate the messages on the selected signs, turn off the Activation option, and click OK.
