Using placeholders, you can display dynamic information regarding wait times, parking availability, and more on a sign as the information is collected from your sensors.

Placeholder text is displayed as either justified text (message text on the left side, data on the right) or unformatted text (message and data in plain text). Placeholders can display the following:
  • Border wait time
  • Current delay
  • Instrumented area availability1
  • Instrumented area occupancy
  • Parking permit availability1
  • Parking zone availability1
  • Parking zone capacity
  • Parking zone occupancy
  • Simple text2
  • Travel time

1 Availability placeholders

The Instrumented area availability and Parking zone availability placeholders use information that must be configured using the Security Center Traffic Sensor Management plugin.

With these placeholders, you can configure a maximum capacity message to be displayed when the area or zone reaches maximum capacity. You can also select a color for the maximum capacity message.

2 Simple text placeholders

Simple text placeholders are placeholders that can be replaced with any content and added to messages. For more information, see Creating simple text placeholders for the Digital Signage Management plugin.
