If you are unable to delete a GPS unit, the Security Center Vehicle Monitoring plugin might have been deleted.

Cause

The Security Center Vehicle Monitoring plugin is deleted before the GPS entity.

Solution

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Area view task.
  2. Create a dummy core entity, such as an area.
  3. Select the dummy entity and the GPS unit, then click Delete.
