Fleet Monitoring solution 2.3.26.0 includes the following new features.

Fleet Monitoring 2.3.26.0

New filters added to Data offload status page
New filtering options have been added to the Data offload status page. These new filters support filtering on words found in AVL Unit, Archiver or Description sections.
GPS plugin geofence processing type
You can now configure geofence processing to be done using the GPS plugin. For more information, refer to Configuring the Fleet Monitoring plugin geofence processing.
Vehicle route playback export operation can be executed on server instead of client
You can now configure vehicle route playback exports to be done on the server side to take advantage of faster transfer speeds that may be available from the server's network. Alternatively, you can configure exports to be done on the client side to avoid using too much bandwidth on the server network.
Show export location for an export that has completed
A new column has been added to the AVL data offload status page. It shows the types of items that are included in the offload, like AVL data and video, and indicates if an export is included. You can hover the cursor over the export icon to review information related to the export, including the full path of the zip file or Clearance case name.

Fleet Monitoring 2.3.24.0

Log metadata from Vehicle Monitoring
You can now activate the logging of GPS metadata in the Fleet Monitoring plugin configurations section. This goes along with the existing Log GPS data option. There are similar settings in the Vehicle Monitoring plugin and together the settings allow a head-end only deployment to choose whether the Vehicle Monitoring plugin will log the data or the Fleet Monitoring plugin. To configure this setting, refer to the General settings section of Configuring the Fleet Monitoring plugin role.
Improved high speed scrubbing in AVL route playback task
High speed tracking in the video timeline of the AVL route playback task has been improved.
Hide options panel in AVL route playback task
You can now hide the options panel in the AVL route playback task to increase the visual space occupied by the video tiles.
Use export settings from plugin configuration to pre-populate the export dialog
You can now define default export settings in the Fleet Monitoring plugin so that vehicle route playback exports will have certain fields pre-populated with information that is standard across all exports. To configure this setting, refer to the Default export settings section of Configuring the Fleet Monitoring plugin role.

Fleet Monitoring 2.3.23.0

Default settings populate export when offloads are completed
You can now configure default export settings that direct automatic exports when they are set up to occur after an offload completes. To configure this setting, refer to the Default export settings section of Configuring the Fleet Monitoring plugin role.

Fleet Monitoring 2.3.17.0

Automatic AVL unit creation
You can now set up automatic AVL unit creation. Create an AVL unit entity in the Area view task and designate it as your automatic creation template, then select this template AVL unit and define a default area in the Properties tab of the AVL plugin that automatically created AVL units are assigned to. When the feature is enabled, the automatic creation of a GPS unit triggers the creation of a corresponding AVL unit using the template AVL unit for its configuration. For more information, see the following:
Add vehicle metadata using General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) realtime
You can now configure the Fleet Monitoring plugin to connect to a GTFS realtime feed to determine if a vehicle is or is not running. A vehicle's presence in the feed means that the vehicle is running. Absence from the feed means the vehicle is not running. The system will keep this information as an AVL unit metadata key and value pair (similar to other key and value pairs that already exist) so it can be used in fleet health fault definitions. For more information, see Configuring the Fleet Monitoring plugin role.
Fleet Health Report
You can now generate fleet health reports to show all of the faults that occurred during the reporting period. Before you do so, you must configure the Fleet Monitoring plugin to record fleet health history metadata.
