To offload videos from before and after a GPS unit alarm is triggered, you need to configure alarm triggers. With the Security Center Fleet Monitoring plugin, you can use alarms from the vehicles to serve as triggers.

Procedure

  1. On the vehicle end, from the Config Tool, create an alarm. For more information, see Creating alarms.
  2. Ensure that the GPS unit is monitoring the alarms by doing the following:
    1. From the Config Tool, open the Area view task and select the GPS unit from the entity browser.
    2. Click the Properties tab.
    3. In the Recent alarms section, ensure that the GPS unit is monitoring the alarms and configure the time settings to suit your needs.
  3. Optional: Ensure your inputs are defined by doing the following:

    2. Select the GPS unit from the entity browser and click the Metadata tab.
