The Fleet Monitoring plugin 2.3 includes the following known issues.

Issue Description
2140920 When new areas of interest are created on the map, you might need to restart the AVL plugin to receive events when a vehicle enters the area.
Workaround: Delete the polygon from the map. Add it again, assign an area to the polygon, and then save the map. If this does not work, then restart the plugin.
2198476 The Archive transfer task logs a success with zero bytes transferred for certain failure scenarios.
2198478 New AVL units do not always show up on the map.
Workaround: Restart the Genetec™ Server.
2207641 Mouse clicks on the configuration page for an AVL unit’s tail color affect controls beneath it.
Workaround: Make sure the config tool window is big enough such that when selecting a tail color, the color selection box does not overlap other controls.
1956528 If a GPS device is using a windows location service API and the permissions are changed to turn off location services on the server where the GPS unit is hosted, and then the location services are turned back on, the GPS unit does not recover.
  1. Restart the Genetec™ Server after restarting windows location services.
  2. Deactivate and then reactivate the GPS plugin.
2736799 Whenever a refresh is performed (either by auto refresh or if a user clicks refresh), the column width snaps back to the original width and the users adjustments are discarded. This issue only applies to the Fleet health task.
