After you configure offload settings at the Fleet Monitoring plugin level, you can configure offload settings for individual AVL units that require different offload settings.

Before you begin

Configure the plugin role.

What you should know

If any of the triggers you configure in the Data offloads page occur, an auto offload is initiated.
Example: If you define an offload schedule and select some other trigger conditions, the schedule does not limit when those other conditions can trigger an offload. Any of the trigger conditions alone will trigger an offload.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Area view task.
  2. Select the AVL unit you want to modify the offload settings of.
  3. Navigate to the Data offload page.
  4. Define the necessary data offload settings:
    Destination archiver
Choose to send information to a different archiver than the plugin default.
    Video data options
Choose to offload all data, or a combination of specific types.
Define a time range for how far before and after an event an offload will happen.
