Deactivating unused services on video units (Advanced) - Security Center 5.11

As a defense-in-depth strategy, you can deactivate any unused services and roles to reduce this risk. This reduces the number of active services in your system, and therefore the attack surface.

1. From the Config Tool homepage, open the Video task and click the Roles and units view.
2. Select a video unit from the entity browser.
3. In the Properties tab, clear the unused services.
4. Click Apply.
