Security Center administrators must change the system's default Admin password to ensure its security.

What you should know

It’s a best practice to only use passwords that are considered Very strong by the password strength meter in Security Center. We recommend avoiding commonly used or expected values, such as:
  • Passwords that you’ve used before
  • Dictionary words
  • Repetitive or sequential characters
  • Context-specific words such as your company name or username

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool homepage, click About.
  2. In the About page, click Change password.
  3. In the Change password dialog box, enter your old password.
  4. Enter your new password and confirm it.
    The password meter in the dialog box indicates your password's strength.

  5. Click OK.
