InstallShield offers recommended security settings by default. Upon first connection, client applications trust the server certificates, and warn the user if certificates change upon subsequent connections.
What you should know
The certificates in the recommended security settings for Security Center are used to establish
a Transport Layer Security (TLS) connection between the Directory and
clients (Security Desk and Config Tool), and between Genetec™
Servers.
