Review the list of accepted Access Manager connections for your Synergis™ Cloud Link unit to make sure only trusted IP addresses can access events that are generated by the unit.

What you should know

IP addresses that are not listed are still able to connect to the Synergis™ Cloud Link unit, but cannot receive updates on events.

The IP address of the server hosting the Access Manager role is automatically added to the list when a Synergis™ Cloud Link unit is added to that role.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Synergis™ unit.
  2. Click Configuration > Network.
  3. In the Access Manager settings section, verify that the IP address listed under Accepted Access Manager connections is the IP address of your Access Manager.
