You must create certain custom fields for your bank branches to integrate with the Security Center Incident Snapshots Generator plugin.

What you should know

IMPORTANT: The custom field names must be entered exactly as documented for the plugin to work.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool homepage, open the System task.
  2. Click the General settings view, and click the Custom fields tab.
  3. Click Add an item at the bottom of the custom field list.
  4. In the Add custom field dialog box, select the Area entity type.
  5. To create the branch ID custom field:
    1. Select the Numeric data type.
    2. Enter SEPROBAN - Branch ID in the Name field.
    3. Enter -1 in the Default value field.
This value is displayed by default when an entity that uses this custom field is created.
Add custom field dialog box with required configuration for a bank branch ID.
  6. To create the Is a bank branch custom field:
    1. Select the Boolean data type.
    2. Enter SEPROBAN - Bank branch in the Name field.
    3. Clear the Default value checkbox.
Add custom field dialog box with required configuration for a "Is a bank branch" custom field.
  7. (Optional) Select the Encrypted checkbox if you want this field to be encrypted in the database (encryption at rest).
NOTE: You must make that decision at creation time. You cannot change this option after the field is created. For other limitations regarding custom field encryption, see About custom fields.
  8. In the Security section, click to add users and user groups that are able to see this custom field. By default, only administrators can see a custom field.
  9. Click Save and close > Apply.

Results

The new custom field is now available on the Custom fields page of bank branch entities.
